Olivia Wnorowski

Senior

Ocean Township High School

Who do you consider a role model?

My parents are my biggest role models. They taught me how to work hard, set goals and that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. They taught me the value of friendships, kindness, happiness and showed me life is worth a lot more than we perceive it to be.

Who would you choose for Team MVP?

The field hockey season this year came with many complications, but despite all of that, I think the team as a whole really came together in the post season. We showed everyone who Ocean Township Field Hockey is. Every member of the team put out tremendous effort. Choosing one MVP is hard, I think the entire team is the MVP this season.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school?

I have made so many fun memories in high school that I will never forget!  The friendships I have built are irreplaceable.  I for sure will not forget living through a pandemic. The climate of school has changed. We are learning at home, which is completely different than ever before. Mostly, I will not forget all the laughs, fun, weekends and memories I have shared with my friends and teammates.

What are your plans for after high school?

After high school I plan on continuing my education close to home. Throughout high school I have been driven to work hard. So, I plan to continue working hard, to spend time with family and friends and to plan my future and career goals.

Coach's Comments: Olivia is one of the most selfless players I have ever coached.  She is a team player that puts the team's needs before her own, which has earned her the position of captain this year. Olivia always gives 110% of her effort to the team. She is the first one to cheer on her teammates or give words of encouragement. She has a strong work ethic and always pushes herself in practice and games. - Coach Kristin McKenna
